Abstract

Technology-mediated distance learning pedagogy is becoming increasingly important at many levels of management education. Distance learning is popular among providers of management education because it allows for more efficient use of instructional resources and because it makes management programs available in disadvantaged locations. Students appreciate the convenience and individuality offered by technology-mediated approaches including the opportunity to tailor unique educational programs. This symposium brings together professors and doctoral candidates who have developed distance learning programs for adult education, undergraduate, graduate, and PhD level management courses.
