Abstract

Got tenure? Wondering what comes next? Come to the OCIS Mid-Career Faculty Workshop on Saturday August 7th. Dan Robey, Georgia State U., will lead a workshop to explore the various avenues that the academic career may travel down once the tenure hurdle is jumped. Facilitators of the workshop will be Ilze Zigurs, Ed Miles, and Kate Kaiser. Whether your future plans involve continuing your research program, moving into administration, spending more time in the real world, or increasing your teaching commitment, you will benefit from group discussions and exercises involving your peers. To plan for lunch and beverage service, advance notice of attendance is requested. Contact Dan Robey for more details and to reserve your place in the workshop.
