Abstract

The Society for Organizational Learning will feature Ford and Shell Oil, who have been involved in developing and applying organizational learning capabilities over the last ten years. The aim of this workshop will be learn from the experiences of Ford and Shell as a means of understanding the forces at play in long-term profound change, change processes that are both deeply personal and systemic, and that unfold at the team, intra-organizational, and inter-organizational levels.
Participants will work in small learning teams, involving academics and practitioners, to create their own frames reflecting in the cases and drawing conclusions for their own work and research.
Registration fee is $50. Limited to 80 participants. Includes a Friday dinner and light lunch on Saturday. This is a two-day session. Pre-register with Angela Lipinsky, Society for Organizational Learning, 617-491-0262, or e-mail her.
