Abstract

This symposium provides an opportunity for academic and applied researchers to extend findings from the general literature on management development to people of color. Each of four papers examines one or more management development strategies in terms of racial differences. We will share cutting-edge research on racial differences in strategies for managerial advancement, developmental job experiences, mentoring experiences, and networking patterns.
