Abstract

The issue of knowledge creation, maintenance, and development in professional service firms is a complex one since it involves continual trade-offs between operational, developmental, and profit-making goals. In this symposium, a panel of international scholars with long-running programs on professional service firms presents conceptual and empirical studies on managing knowledge.
